Zilele trecute am fost la un targ de handmade si am descoperit minunatele produse Lavandine. Pana in respectivul moment nu mai auzisem de ele. Mi-a placut foarte mult oferta de produse si doamna/domnisoara care avea grija de stand (presupun ca este chiar proprietara afacerii) a fost foarte draguta si mi-a raspuns la toate intrebarile.
Desi produsele erau foarte imbietoare, nu m-am lasat dusa de val si am decis ca este mai bine sa analizez toata oferta de pe internet (deoarece pe Lavandine o gasiti atat pe breslo, cat si pe blogger). Mi-am cam facut o lista cu produse pe care as dori sa le incerc, lista incepand cu balsamurile de buze, deoarece am o mica problema cu acestea, mereu nu sunt ceea ce caut.
Deoarece inca nu am incercat nimic nu pot sa zic mai multe, nici despre preturi, nici despre calitate. Cu toate acestea feed-back-ul de pe breslo vorbeste de la sine, magazinul Lavandine avand un feed-back 100% pozitiv.

CTS Corner + lil' ramble

Imi pare rau pentru lipsa postarilor din ultima saptamana, sunt intr-un fel de sesiune deci nu am prea avut timp. Sunt foarte dezamagita de cum a decurs primul si singurul meu giveaway, respectiv "Birthday Giveaway". Nu am avut nici o inscriere!! Stiu ca blogul meu nu este urmarit de foarte multa lume si ma asteptam sa am putine inscrieri, dar chiar deloc!? E de vina premiul pe care v-il ofer? Este prea putin? Stiu ca nu se ridica la nivelul premiilor din blogosfera, dar ganditi-va ca sunt la inceput de drum cu blogul, nu am parte de sponsorizari si nici un portofel gros nu am, nu am cum sa va ofer parfumuri full size, produse de firma etc.
Sa continuam intr-o nota mai pozitiva, am decis, totusi, sa mai tin un giveaway, in viitorul apropiat. Premiul va fi putin mai consistent, deoarece am reusit sa fac rost de o sponsorizare. Voi incerca sa fac mai multa "reclama" urmatoarului giveaway si sa maresc si perioada de inscrieri.
Astazi vreau sa va prezint parerea mea subiectiva despre un magazin dragut. Este vorba despre CTS Corner. Nu cred ca au foarte multe puncte de vanzare in tara. Stiu ca in Iasi au 2 magazine, unul in Carrefour Felicia si al doilea pe Bulevardul Independentei. Eu l-am vizitat doar pe cel din Carrefour si pot sa spun ca overall mi-a placut.
Ce mi-a placut:
1. Aspectul magazinului. Este foarte dragut amenajat, si ma refer strict la modalitatea de aranjare a produselor. Imi plac mult rafturile/dulapurile de lemn in care sunt puse produsele. Imi place modul in care sunt depozitate ceaiurile si cafeaua (borcanele alea mariiii!!!)
2. Produsele. Au o varietate mare de produse, ceaiuri, gemuri, bomboane, cafea, etc Toate sunt foarte aspectuoase si te imbie sa le mirosi.
3. Personalul. Am fost salutata de o tipa foarte draguta, care nu m-a agasat cu prezenta ei. M-a urmarit de la departare fara sa sara pe mine din prima acordandu-mi ajutorul. Cand am intrebat-o ceva legat de produse mi-a raspuns foarte frumos si detaliat. Mai era o persoana in magazin, presupun ca un fel de manager!?, nu m-a bagat deloc in seama, statea intr-un colt la un laptop si tasta (ceea ce nu mi s-a parut foarte ok).
4. Modalitatea de vanzare a ceaiurilor si cafelei. Faptul ca sunt vrac si ca poti lua cat doresti este un mare plus.
Ce nu mi-a placut:
1.Mi s-a parut ca au o varietate mica de ceaiuri. Ori nu am bagat eu de seama, ori mi-au fugit ochii pe chestiile colorate, dar am vazut putine borcane cu ceaiuri.
2. Spatiul. Magazinul este cam ingramadit, sunt foarte multe produse ingramadite si nu prea ai cum sa le observi pe toate.
3. Muzica. Nu am bagat bine de seama ce se asculta, insa din ce tin minte era ori un post de radio, ori oricum ceva comercial. As fi preferat sa fie ceva mai interesant, sa se potriveasca cu specificul magazinului.
4. Preturile. Sunt putin mai mari decat in alte locuri, dar compenseaza faptul ca ceaiul si cafeaua se pot lua vrac.
5. Locul de servit cafeaua/ceaiul este mult prea mic si neinteresant. In plus, nu imi place deloc ideea de a servi ceaiul si cafeaua in pahare de hartie/plastic, mult prea inpersonal. Nici nu cred ca au prea mare vanzare in acest sector.
Aceasta este parerea mea subiectiva, o sa vizitez cat mai curand si magazinul de pe Independentei si voi updatat postul. Din pacate nu am facut nici o poza in magazin, sincer nici nu stiu daca mi s-ar fi dat voie.

Nu am fost prea activa in ultima saptamana, sau chiar 2 saptamani, dar asta se datoreaza faptului ca am avut un program ceva mai incarcat. De ultima data cand am postat am reusit sa mai citesc ceva carti, ultima carte terminata fiind "Cea mai frumoasa carte din lume" de Eric Emmanuel-Schmidt. Nu pot sa zic ca mi-a placut in mod special, e usor de citit si are cateva povesti placute. Mai exact cartea este o colecti""e de 8 povestiri ce au ca obiect central povestile de dragoste a 8 femei. Nu este vorba de clasica poveste de dragoste, ci o dragoste "with a twist".
In ultimele 2 saptamani am baut foarte mult ceai, in mod special rooibos, de care ma declar sincer indragostita.
Peste o saptamana este ziua mea, si de aceea am planuit sa fac un giveaway. Un alt motiv pentru care am decis sa fac acest giveaway este si ca vreau sa fiu mai activa anul acesta, sa postez mai mult, sa va povestesc despre diverse lucruri interesante.
Deci, ca idee, pe saptamana viitoare sa va asteptati la startul unui giveaway dragut, sper eu sa va placa.

Astazi vreau sa va vorbesc despre ultima carte pe care am citit-o, respectiv "Violul. O poveste de dragoste" de Joyce Carol Oates. Cartea a aparut in 2004, insa traducerea la noi a fost facuta de abia in 2011, deci putem sa zicem ca este o noutate. Iata cum este prezentat cartea pe site-ul Polirom:
"

Gura lumii a decretat ca Teena Maguire n-ar fi trebuit sa o ia pe o anume scurtatura in acea zi nefasta de 4 Iulie. Nu dupa miezul noptii si nu prin parcul Rocky Point. Mai era si imbracata intr-un maiou, blugi taiati si sandale cu toc. Si mai avea cu ea si pe fiica ei de doisprezece ani, Bethie. Pe vremuri o tinara energica si plina de viata, Teena a ajuns acum victima unui viol in grup, abandonata pe jumatate moarta intr-un debarcader mizerabil. Cel mai puternic sentiment care o macina in prezent este profundul regret al supravietuitorului incapabil sa-si revina dintr-un cosmar.

Titlul provocator si contradictoriu anunta un roman problematic. Cum poti sa scrii despre experienta violului si, totodata, despre dragoste? Intr-un ritm alert si captivant, punctat de strigate de singuratate si soapte de groaza, Joyce Carol Oates istoriseste experienta Teenei, a lui Bethie, a agresorilor lor, dar si a unui protector neasteptat, foarte dornic sa faca dreptate cu propriile miini."

Mie personal mi s-a parut foarte "catchy" cartea. Este scrisa intr-un stil mai brutal, necaracteristic unei femei, ceea ce probabil pentru unele persoane este mai greu de digerat. Cartea nu este cenzurata, avand parte de cateva injuraturi si descriere nu foarte potrivite, insa acesta contribuie la atmosfera creata de roman.

Cartea are 184 pagini, iar capitolele sunt scurte si precise. Eu am reusit sa o citesc in 3 ore, insa au fost 3 ore pline de suspans, care m-au tinut cu sufletul la gura. Dupa nici 30 de minute de citit deja eram suparata din cauza actiunii, si speram ca personajele negative sa fie cat mai repede pedepsite. Mai pe scurt, traiam cu intensitate actiune romanului.

Chiar mi-a placut cartea si stilul de scris al lui Joyce Carol Oates si planuiesc sa mai citesc si alte carti scrise de ea, incepand cu "Mandra fecioara".

Am observat ca am un fel de atractie pentru cartile care au ca punct central relatii de iubire esuate sau iubiri interzise. Ultimele carti pe care le-am citit au avut numai astfel de subiecte ("Colectionarul" de John Fowles, "Lolita" de Vladimir Nabokov), iar "Mandra fecioara" are un subiect asemanator.

Voi ce carti ati mai citit? Imi puteti si recomanda ceva daca doriti, eu in prezent am o lista cu "must read books", insa sunt deschisa la recomandari.

Din pacate sunt o adevarata dezamagire in ceea ce priveste incercarile mele de a tine un blog. Uneori am porniri serioase, postez des si mult, iar alteori sunt extrem de absenta, cum este si acum cazul. Deoarce nu am timp, si uneori nici chef, sa scriu in limba engleza, voi renunta la aceasta optiune. Daca se vor arata vreodata persoane din strainatate interesate de ceea ce bat eu campii aici poate voi scrie din nou in engleza.
Meanwhile, am decis ca nu pot sa tin blogul acesta doar pentru moda, fashion, wtv. Ideea este ca as vrea sa scriu despre ce imi trece mie prin cap. Poate intr-o zi vreau sa va prezint un film, sau un ceai, sau un restaurant. De exemplu, astazi as vrea sa vorbim despre produsele handmade. De multa vreme am intentii de a transforma hainute, de a realiza bijuterii, etc, dar aproape niciodata nu se materializeaza aceste intentii. Si imi este asa de ciuda cand vad la altii ceva frumos facut de mana lor, ciuda nu pe rezultatul muncii lor ci pe faptul ca imi este mie lene. Prima bijuterie handmade de care am fost foarte mandra si am purtat-o cu multa placere, cand am avut ocazia, a fost un lant care avea pe post de pandativ o funda de catifea turcoaz. Din pacate nu cred ca am o fotografie cu ea, pentru ca zilele trecute am decis ca a trecut vremea ei si ca merita o reutilizare, asa ca i-am scos lantul si am adaugat o agrafa si am facut o brosa sub forma de funda. Mi-as dori sa o port la o camasa pe post de papion:D
Tot zilele trecute am trecut la fapte in ceea ce priveste un lant pe care il aveam in minte de ceva vreme. Initial vroiam sa cumpar materialele necesare de pe internet si apoi sa trec la treaba, insa mi-am dat seama ca nu are rost sa imi iau materiale noi cand pot reutiliza niste lanturi mai vechi pe care nu le mai purtam si care stateau si asteptau sa fie aruncate (cred).
Astfel, din 3 lanturi vechi, niste resturi de la o pereche de cercei care nu au ajuns niciodata in urechile mele si cu aproape un metru de snur am realizat un fel de lant statement. Tot ce vreau sa va zic este ca a fost foarte apreciat de prietenele mele care nu m-au crezut cand le-am zis ca eu l-am facut.
Acum astept si alte momente de insipratie, deoarece, din cate am observat, inspiratia mea are fluctuatii:)) Treptat vreau sa va arat diverse chestiute pe care le-am facut eu, bijuterii in principal, ce lucruri faine am mai vanat de prin sh-uri, ce mancaruri bune am ma gatit si altele.
Daca va intereseaza astfel de subiecte, mi-ar prinde bine un feedback la postari, sa stiu si eu daca se merita sa continui sau nu.:D

The main idea is that both campaigns promote ladies handbags, use celebrities and luxurious cars, but I think there is a big difference between this 2 campaigns. I am totally in love with Leighton Meester and this is not completly because of her role in Gossip Girl (actually at the beginning I liked Serena more!). I like her style and her attitude, and I loved her in Country Strong. These days I was surfing the internet and I came across some photos of Leighton Meester at the launch of the new Vera Wang fragrance Lovestruck and I was like "wtf! why didn't I saw these earlier". I felt in love with her outfit and omg, how cute she is. My sister loved that Leighton has little freckles on her nose.

The Karl Lagerfeld for Macy's collection is one of the most anticipated collaborations of the season and it will be available starting with 31th August and last days appeared the lookbook for this collection. The collection will contain 45 pieces mixing black and white pieces, tweed coats, high-collar cotton dresses, and faux leather pants.

Here are some photos featuring model Jeisa Chiminazzo and, in my oppinion, she was not well chosen (nor the model and nor the attitude). The pieces are not attractive at all.

What do you think about this collection?

Btw, I love the bottles which Karl designed for Coca-Cola!! I'd love to get (at least) one of them.
